long and wonderful days

It's nearly that time of year. Yes, back to school is coming out of the office supply stores marketing campaign and into our lives as a real concept.

Good thing I got a head start yesterday.

And I must say I really like the current art exhibit in the little red-doored building. The flowers--the colours--the horizontal grid of lines--together they looked more than venetian blinds left open as windows to the world. But that is what I thought about: windows to the world. (These happened to be entirely fictional.)
