Yes, so we want what we cannot have. I can say that and feel good about knowing why some aspects of this world appeal to me so very much. But it seems like a cheat. How does knowing you cannot have something effect any change in the subconscious desire which it instills?

Very odd, this world thing. No, I don't know you. And not knowing you means that I cannot understand you. This makes objectifying you too easy. I resist. You're a person with a story. I want to know your story. I want to get to know you.
