long and wonderful days

It's nearly that time of year. Yes, back to school is coming out of the office supply stores marketing campaign and into our lives as a real concept.

Good thing I got a head start yesterday.

And I must say I really like the current art exhibit in the little red-doored building. The flowers--the colours--the horizontal grid of lines--together they looked more than venetian blinds left open as windows to the world. But that is what I thought about: windows to the world. (These happened to be entirely fictional.)

wacky historical fiction

Spent most of the day reading Steve Berry's Romanov Prophecy. Quite the little tale. Perhaps I should move out of fiction into historical novels. Sure the first person's thoughts will be fictional, but all their actions and relationships would be real.

And where do I look for more stream of consciousness short stories? I really liked one book I purchased earlier this summer.

beauty and memory

So a gal from the hot yoga studio remembers me. I showed up there once since the start of January. Seven months. A couple hundred days.

Eek!

I think I'll go again *just* before the back to school rush, so, sometime next week.

school time

This could be my last fall of undergrad. Or I could be back a couple more times to finish up everything I have started.

How does this sound:
+ juggle
+ fence
+ dance twice
+ and write all my essays well ahead of time! Even if I don't know the subject matter!

Four out of six nights covered, but I have a nagging feeling that one dance night overlaps one juggling night. That's cool. One night of fun throwing things around is enough.

all is fair

Something tells me I'm stuck. The inner peace I found a couple years ago has left me trying new things, developing myself, all without feelings of accomplishment or satisfaction.

Why would that be?

I can hide away. I can take centre stage. I understand technologies. I am learning to understand people.

What is missing?
